Shailesh Meshram is a watercolour artist who has exhibited across major galleries including Jehangir Art Gallery, Raja Ravi Varma Gallery, Balgandharva Art Gallery, Darpan Art Gallery, Fabriano, and the Watercolour Festival.
He was hosting a solo show at the Raja Ravi Varma Gallery, and on the last day, three artists came together to paint on one canvas. We were asked to create an after-film of the day — not just a recording, but something that captured the energy of the collaboration and preserved the creative exchange between the three artists as a legacy piece for the art community.

Our Approach
Capturing a live, high-pressure environment meant working within an unpredictable space where the creative action never paused. With no room for reshoots or staging, we had to remain invisible while ensuring every critical moment of the five-hour collaboration was caught in real-time.
Adopted a purely observational stance, allowing the creative flow between Meshram, Desai, and Mulick to unfold naturally without intervention.
Prioritized the "human element" in the edit—focusing on the movement of hands, focused expressions, and spontaneous reactions between the artists.
Treated the canvas as the outcome rather than the sole subject, centering the narrative on the shared chemistry and dialogue between the painters.
Maintained a cinematic yet grounded visual style to reflect the raw authenticity and prestige of the event.
